We've always loved the wonders of travel, whether around the corner or around the world, and we know how important clean and comfortable accommodation is.
We've stayed in lots of hotels, motels, hostels, camp grounds and homestays as a couple, with our children, and in groups. Cost is NOT the measure! Quality, personal service and location - relative to the cost - is! We will strive to meet and exceed your expectations.
We've been guests in some amazing 5 Star hotels (thanks to work travel), mid range and budget options including some off the beaten track, think $15 'surf shack' in Chile - PS: It was awesome! If we choose a budget option we dont believe it gives the operators any excuse for taking service shortcuts, especially with cleaning!
We love hospitality, so much so that from 2008 - 2016 we owned and operated a boutique accommodation business on the Victorian Coast - that was sparked by happy memories growing up in family motels and restaurants, and then working for Four Seasons Hotels.
We purchased the Warburton Motel in August 2017 and as the third owners since 1966 we are super excited to bring our skills and experience to the operation of this family run business. Prior to our arrival it was clean, comfortable and correctly priced but, like any new chapter our era ushered in some immediate improvements: Comfortable (very high quality) beds with crisp white linen, free wi-fi, eco-friendly and fair trade products (toiletries, mini bars), an easy to use online booking system, general decor updates and detailed local information to help you plan your travel and make the most of what the Yarra Valley has to offer.
