‘Bike & Hike’ is Warburton’s premier nature adventure business.

You’ll enjoy some great videos of Warburton rides on their page as well and you can check out the adventures there. For great convenience it also operates from the Motel so enjoying these tours is effortless.

NEW: Bikes available for hire at affordable rates - see 'Bike Hire' tab

We have a stand, enough tools to get you out of most fixes and an undercover safe place to store your beloved at night!

Ride options

The 38km Warburton - Lilydale Rail Trail starts exactly 1km from the Motel, the 107km Giro della Donna road race starts 1km from the Motel or you can head right out the driveway to the two most popular trail loops (45km "Starling Gap Loop" and 55km "Ada Tree Loop").

The 'Visit Warburton' official site has some great information about the range of rides including the three main mountain bike tracks:

"Hey Hey My My" - you can read about it HERE

This video is of "Hey Hey My My" was created by the great team at the Cog Bike Cafe (and repair shop):

Hidden away just 70 kilometres from the centre of Melbourne and starting at the Motel gate are the magical roads and unforgiving mountains of the Yarra Ranges National Park, aka cycling paradise. Don't be fooled by the beautiful forests and innocent lyrebirds that line these flawless roads; this ride is not for the faint-hearted!

Repairs and maintenance

Upon your return you can clean your bike and carry out tweaks and repairs using the supplied stand and tools. For bigger issues Ride Time Yarra Valley (parts and mechanics) is in the main street shops and COG Bike Shop (parts and mechanic) is within walking distance.

Secure storage

Whether exploring Warburton by car or foot, or storing your bike overnight, you can secure your bike undercover (using your own lock) or in our lockable shed.
